I’m telling you, take your vitamins and supplements. There are so many people who are already sick from the H1N1 virus. Take astragulus, and vitamin C, at least those two. We’ve been taking these (and many more) and we haven’t gotten really sick. My daughter, Gilian, she got a fever and had a cold for a day and a half and that’s as long as it lasted. Like I said in my post awhile ago when she gets sick she stays sick for at least a week but with taking these supplements I have seen a dramatic improvement in how long she stays sick. I thought none of us would get sick at all but I guess it happens sometimes. So keep eating orange colored fruits and vegetables and take astragulus and vitamin C. It works!!!

This recipe is so easy and very good! It also goes along with orange foods that boost your immune system.

Ingredients:
1 butternut squash
salt
brown sugar (optional)

Cut butternut squash in half. Sprinkle salt and brown sugar onto the squash.

Be sure the oven is preheated to 350F before placing in oven.

Bake squash until soft; then simply scoop the squash out of the skin, add a little butter and serve!

I just used some salt and it was very delicious, the kids even liked it! Try it and keep the Flu and the H1N1 Virus AWAY!

This year my kids are going to a public school so I’m very concerned about them getting the H1N1 Virus (also known as the Swine Flu).

So to keep the regular Flu and the Swine Flu at bay I have started to give them Astragalus, which boosts the immune system, vitamin C, St. Johns Wart (in the natural dried form), Kefir, extra water, more vegetables than usual and plenty of sleep.

Hopefully taking these steps early, before Flu season hits we can avoid the sickness all together.

Eating orange fruits and vegetables are great added benefits. Here are some of the best foods to eat to avoid the dreaded H1N1 (Swine Flu) Virus.

The top five foods that give your body the best immunity: beef, sweet potatoes, mushrooms, tea and yogurt.

This does not replace a healthy diet but it aides in boosting your immune system and each of the foods should be eaten every day to boost immunity.

So help yourselves and your family out and get on some kind of defense program so you too can avoid the Flu and the H1N1 (Swine Flu) Virus.
